A prayer of thanks!

Just a quick small prayer of thanks - my son found my keyring today, which had all of my store savings keytags, my house keys, and my PO box key. Yeah!

Prayers for a local family

This past week or so, a local man apparently "just snapped" and robbed a local bank and took a couple of bank employees hostage. Fortunately, no one was hurt.  He was a member of my local Real Estate Investors Association, and apparently was going through some difficult finanicial times. Please pray for his family. If he's convicted, he faces 30 years in jail.

Prayers for my other half!

My husband is the manager of the auto parts store in town. Tomorrow his store is basically being "graded" by his district manager and another district manager from another area. Prayers are appreciated that he will get a good grade! Thanks!

ETA: He passed! He scored 94 pts out of 104 pts! Yeah!!!!

Not lost anymore!

I cannot believe that it's been over a month since I've posted a blog entry. So much for posting often! LOL!

Anyway, a lot has happened since I last posted. Although toy season was a "bust" for me in terms of hot toys, my two dropship companies have worked out well, so I will be focusing on that for Ebay. I've also done a lot of praying and have decided that I will be entering the world of real estate investment in 2009. This has always been an interest to me, something I've always wanted to pursue, but the timing just never seemed right. But now that the kids are in school, I feel that I can really devote the time necessary to get my first deal under my belt. I'm going to be joining the local Real Estate Investors Association (REIA), and that will be a tremendous help for getting started.
